PREPARATION OF THE PRODUCT FOR USE:
Mix the plant protection product with water in a separate vessel. Fill half the sprayer container with water. Turn the mixer of the machine on and add the mixture into the container. Continue mixing and fill up the container with water. Keep on mixing until the end of application. Use the prepared plant protection product the same day

CALIBRATION: The machine should be calibrated before using. The dose of mixture should be calibrated for a good covering. Application should be performed in cool periods during day time when the weather is not windy or when there is a calm weather.

CLEANING THE SPRAYING MACHINE:
After the application, empty the tank of the spraying machine. Fill the tank with clean water, run the mixer and let the spraying system clean all the parts. Do not perform cleaning near water sources. Do not pour the cleaning water and waste into water sources
USAGE OF THE PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCT:

WHEAT (POWDERY MILDEW) (Erysiphe grammus): Application should be made when the first pustules of the disease are seen. A second application should be made when required.

RUST DISEASES IN WHEAT (Yellow rust: Puccinia striformis. Black rust: P.grammus tritici. Brown rust: P.recondita tritici): Application should be made when the disease signs (pustules) are seen. Green parts should be sprayed for rust effects. The surface of the leaves and the stem should be covered with the product. If the environmental conditions are suitable for disease progression, a second application can be made by taking into account the effect period of the first application. An application should be made one month before the harvest as the plant is in maturity period during the said term.

SEPTORIA LEAF SPOT DISEASE IN WHEAT (Septoria tritici): Green part application is made if the climatic conditions are suitable for disease progression and if there is a risk of epidemic. Applications are started when the first signs of the disease are seen. In general, the best time for application is the end of the boot stage when the flag leaf has completely emerged, or before the head emerges. If the infection has spread to the upper parts of the plant at an early stage, the application should be done when the flag leaf emerges. Similarly, if the field is contaminated and rainy weather continues during heading stage, an application may be necessary to prevent economic loss. A second application can be done by taking into account the effect period of the plant protection product.
POWDERY MILDEW IN SUGAR BEET (Erysiphe polygoni): first application is started when one cercospora leaf spot is detected in 5% of mature leaves and continued with 15-20 days intervals.


LEAF SPOT DISEASE IN SUGAR BEET (Cercospora beticola): The first application is started when one cercospora leaf spot is detected in 5% of mature leaves and continued with 15-20 days intervals.

INFORMATION ON RESISTANCE:
The plant protection product, EFDAL PORTRE 490 EC is a fungicide classified as Group G1:3 fungicide according to its mechanism of action. Repeated application of plant protection products having the same mechanism of action promotes resistance. For this reason, do not exceed the total number of EFDAL PORTRE 490 EC applications recommended for a single season to delay resistance. If the application needs to be repeated, pay attention to use plant protection products having a different mechanism of action (other than Group G1:3)

MISCIBILITY:
The product can be mixed with the insecticides, fungicides and fertilizers other than the strongly alkaline products.
