USAGE:
Preparing Bordeaux Mixture: Bordeaux mixture is prepared by mixing copper sulphate, lime and water. If one wants to prepare 1% BORDEAUX MIXTURE, first 1 kg copper sulphate is dissolved in a non-metal container. 500 gr quick lime is slowly hydrated and dissolved in another 100 litre container and filled with water until the mixture reaches 50 litre in total. Previously prepared 50 litre copper sulphate solution is added into the lime solution and stirred continuously. Never pour the lime solution into the copper sulphate solution.
In order to test the quality of the mixture, a litmus paper or phenolphthalein test paper is dipped into the mixture. If litmus paper turns blue and white phenolphthalein test paper turns red, it means that the mixture is good in quality. If the quality is not good, more hydrated lime solution is added.
Vineyard mildew: 1st application: Start applying when the offshoots are about 25-30 cm in length. The 2nd and subsequent applications are performed by taking into consideration the effect period of the product. Once the effect period of the product ends, applications should be continued if conditions favourable for infection exist taking into account meteorological factors such as daily average temperature and rain in the region, relative humidity and dew. Applications should be stopped when the environmental conditions are no more favourable for infection.
INFORMATION ON RESISTANCE: The plant protection product, EFDAL GÖZTAŞIM is a fungicide classified as Group M1 fungicide according to its mechanism of action. Repeated application of plant protection products having the same mechanism of action promotes resistance. For this reason, do not exceed the total number of EFDAL GÖZTAŞIM applications recommended for a single season not to cause a delay in plant growth. If the application needs to be repeated, pay attention to use plant protection products having a different mechanism of action (other than Group M1)
MISCIBILITY: It is not recommended to mix EFDAL GÖZTAŞIM with other products.
