USAGE OF THE PLANT PROTECTION PLANT:
Vineyard grapevine moth: Application is done if the number of moths caught in traps has made a peak and started to decrease and the effective heat summation exceeds 120 degree-days in the 1st generation with over 15 degrees in two consecutive days and subsequent days. Effective heat summation must reach 520 degree-days in the 2nd and 1047 degree-days in the 3rd generation. From a phonological perspective, the 1st generation corresponds to the grapevine's bud stage, 2nd generation to unripe grape and 3rd generation to the start of sweetening. Application decision is taken when the first larvae hatch from the eggs. One spraying is done for each generation.
Cotton leaf worm: Leaf, flower and ball of 25 plants at every 10-15 steps are controlled. Application is made when there is 0,5 larva per plant or 2 egg bundles or 2 new bursts in 25 plants are observed.
Cotton bollworm: All the plants in a randomly selected 3 meters row are controlled and cotton bollworm eggs and larvae are counted. Application is made when there is an average of 2 larvae in a row of 3 meters.
Corn worm and Corn stalk borer worm: Application is done when the first egg is seen. 2 more applications are made in 15 days interval after the first one.
Tomato bollworm: The field is entered diagonally and 50-100 plants are checked for eggs and larvae on the flower, leave, stem, fruit and offshoots of the plant. Application is done is 5 out of 100 plants have eggs and larvae.
Tomato, aubergine and cucumber leaf worm: The field is entered diagonally and application is made when 1-2 newly hatched egg bundles or 4-5 larvae are seen in 100 plants. Timing should be chosen carefully since better results are obtained if application is made before the larvae scatter.
Apple Codling Moth: In apple codling moth management, applications are done according to a forecast and warning system. The aim in apple codling moth management is keeping the trees sprayed at the time of larva emergence in each generation and killing the larva before entering the fruit.
Hazelnut weevil: Application is done when more than 2 weevils are observed during the controls made on the 10th of January after the fruits reach the size of a lentil.
INFORMATION ON RESISTANCE:
The plant protection product, EFDAL INDOX SC is an insecticide classified as Group 22:A insecticide according to its mechanism of action. Repeated application of plant protection products having the same mechanism of action promotes resistance. For this reason, do not exceed the total number of EFDAL INDOX SC applications recommended for a single season to delay resistance. If the application needs to be repeated, pay attention to use plant protection products having a different mechanism of action (other than Group 22:A).
MISCIBILITY:
As miscibility is not known, it is recommended to make a physical pre-test.
