WISTAPE® PVC FUGENBAND, PVC waterstop should be used on concrete surfaces in contact with water to prevents water leakage from the joints. If it is desired to prevent the transfer of dynamic movements in the joint or if there is no pressurized ground water, in this case PVC waterstop bands used in the center of concrete section can be used. If the building is on an earthquake zone PVC waterstop tape should be chosen that is resistant to tensions in diagonal directions or absorb excessive stretches that may occur.
