Description: Aragonit self spreading improvement alum is a cement – based mortar, which is reinforced with chemicals to spread and smoothen by it self.
Fields of Usage: Aragonit self spreading improvement alum is an improvement mortar. After setting, it creates a smooth and tough surface. Therefore, it is used to smooth the surface before applications, such as ceramic, laminate parquet, wooden parquet, and PVC covering. In addition, it can be used alone to smooth the surfaces on which no covering will be applied. The usage thickness is between 0,5 mm. and 10 mm.
Application: 25 kg. Aragonit self spreading improvement alum is mixed with 8,25-10 liters of water or the amount of water which comes up to 35/40% of the dry material. The mixture is made with a low speed mixer. The prepared mixture is poured to surfaces which have been cleaned with spaces of 50 cm. and 1 m. The alum spreads by it self. However, smoothing is ensured by bringing the heaps closer with the help of a trowel and brush. The material which has been smoothened is straightened with a cylinder, so, possible formation of air bubles are prevented. The prepared mortar should be consumed within 2 hours. The applied mortar completes its setting in 2 hours. The floor can be operational after 24 hours or covering may be applied. However, if it will be open to intense traffic, it should wait at least 48 hours, even 7 days in work places like factories.
Cautions and Precautions
• Avoid applications under 10 C degrees.
• If the application will be made in opening, the weather temperature and wind must be considered.
• The shelf life of the material is 12 mounths in its unopened package.
• It should be potected from moisture in storage
• Maximum stacking should be 15 bags.
• The cement based materials shouldn.2t be breathed directly and their contact with skin should be avoided. During the process, protective clothes should be put on.

Rates of Mixtures: For a package of 25 kg. it is mixed with 12-13 liters of water
