Quince; Turkey ranks 1st in the world quince production by
producing the quarter of the total production nearly
100 thousand tons. Bursa ranks 2nd in Turkey by occupies
8% of quince production of Turkey. Quince is a slightly fruit
having a yellow skin, wonderful smell, firm flesh and
delightful sourish flavour. The domestic varieties of high
quality are exported. Its season is September to November.
Apart from these months, the quinces which are cold
storaged are offered to markets.
