Mono 12, polypropylene fiber manufactured in 12 mm length, is heavily used in screed concrete and shotcrete applications. According to standard EN 14889-2, 600g per cubic meter is sufficient to prevent the formation of cracks in applied concrete, during stiffening process. High binding ability within aggregates in the concrete hampers the growth of micro-cracks. Polymono 12 also reduces costs by reducing the rebound amount in shotcrete applications.
