Our factory was founded in the late 1940s by M. Rıfkı Özbil as a stone mill and oil plant, and operated under local authorities until 1958. On May 27, 1958, it was registered with the chamber of commerce under the commercial title M. Rıfkı Özbil – Vegetable Oil and Flour Factory with the registration number M-23. In 1960, the roller flour mill began operating. Later, in 1976, the company continued its activities under the name Özbil Flour Industry – T. Nazmi Özbil and commissioned a new flour factory in the same year. On December 1, 1981, the factory’s new commercial title became Özbil Flour Industry and Trade Inc. Since its establishment, our company has continued its operations without interruption, adapting to contemporary technologies and progressing to the present day.

After the construction of wheat silos in 2002, the facility reached a total wheat storage capacity of 7,000 tons, consisting of three vertical and five horizontal silos. With the production system upgraded in 2004, the wheat grinding capacity reached 180 tons per day. Following the construction of flour silos in 2006, the flour storage capacity increased to 1,300 tons. Our production facility has a daily flour packaging capacity of 400 tons. The plant is built on a 9-decare plot of land, with nearly 5,000 square meters of indoor space. Having maintained uninterrupted flour production for over 60 years, our facility continues its operations under third-generation management.
