Nurteks Carpet Industry was founded in Eminönü, Istanbul in 1972. Nurteks which has been producing synthetic grass and wall-to-wall carpets since its foundation, introduced synthetic grass to Turkey for the first time in 1983. As the founder of the first grass carpet plant of Turkey, Nurteks performs its export activities to more than 50 countries in its two plants located in Çorlu and Çerkezköy and through its worldwide distributor network. Nurteks is the sector-leader in Turkey, the 2nd greatest producer in Europe and the 4th greatest producer in the world.

Nurteks has been producing synthetic grass carpets for football fields, tennis courts, golf, hockey, basketball and volleyball areas, landscapes, decoration and playgrounds in its Çorlu plant with10 million m2/year production capacity annually. Producing in line with FIFA Quality Standards, Nurteks has had a license agreement with FIFA since 2001.

Having worked for hundreds of FIFA certified professional football fields in many countries, Nurteks has been carrying out its wall-to-wall carpet production in its Çerkezköy plant located on a 60.000m2-area since 2000. The company is among the sector-leaders thanks to its products such as carpets for 5-star contract hotels and mosques as well as runners and mats produced in its 8 million m2/year capacity-plant.
