Year 1940. Karadeniz Brothers sells butter, cheese and minzine bought from villagers in Vakfikebir region and starts marketing dairy products for the first time. When the date showed 1945, Karadeniz Brothers, who started to produce their own, laid the foundations of Kebir, which would become one of the biggest dairy products brands in Turkey years later. Despite the difficult marketing conditions of the 40s, Karadeniz Brothers, which managed to sell its products in the Marmara Region as well as the Black Sea, continues to grow without compromising on taste and quality. In 1963, Karadeniz Kardeşler started to market the natural flavors of Vakfıkebir to Central Anatolia and Eastern Anatolia regions. Since then, they have made a continuous investment in the lands where the story begins, both expanding the Kebir brand and making a great contribution to the development of Vakfıkebir. By the 90s, Kebir is ready to add flavor to tables all over Turkey. With the establishment of Karadeniz Kardeşler A.Ş. in 1993, Kebir now becomes the brand of all of Turkey. In line with the ever-increasing demands, Kebir accelerates its investments in the 2000s in order to offer better quality and more delicious products and to meet Turkey's breakfast needs. It modernizes and renews its production facility in Vakfikebir in accordance with world standards, and expands its product range by collecting not only the natural milk of Vakfikebir, but also the freshest milk from other regions of Turkey. Today, as the Kebir family, we blend our experience from the past with today's technologies, 150 tons of milk per day with our more than 400 employees in our modern production facility of 10.000 m2 in Vakfikebir and 6.000 m2 in Beşikdüzü, It processes 40 tons of butter; We employ more than 20 thousand people with our more than 5 thousand suppliers. Finally, we are proud of reaching the final stage of our Balıkesir production facility, which was established on an area of 12.000 m2.
