Helvacızade; It was founded by Hacı Mehmet Efendi in 1920, according to the teachings of ahilik (master-apprentice), Eminönü, at the Gate of the Kennels of the Bazaar of egypt
Having started producing as a small shop, Helvacızade has adopted the principle of maintaining the quality and taste of the cultures and generations it has adopted in its establishment.
When it came to 1955, Hasan Yüksel, the son and apprentice of Hacı Mehmet Efendi, took over his father's profession and continued to produce sweet according to Turkish and Ottoman taste.
When it came to 1985, Hasan Yüksel gave his sons to Abraham and Bekir Yuksel's brothers and sisters, and brought them up to the present day by educating them with the teachings they had made for themselves.
Today, the fourth generation; Ömer and Coşkun Nuri Yüksel brothers combine these flavor techniques inherited from their ancestors with modern technology and prepare Helvacızade for tomorrow.
Today, production activities in Bahçelievler; Helvacızade continues its retail sales in Istanbul at 2 different points and presents its nostalgic tastes about a century ago to today's valued customers.
