Offering a combination of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's timeless foresight and industrialization with its driving forces 'natural resources and financial facts', Etibank was established on 14.06.1935 under the Law No. 2805 and was named "Eti Holding Inc." following the structuring in 1998 and "Eti Maden İşletmeleri Genel Müdürlüğü (Eti Maden)" after the re-structuring in January 2004.

Eti Maden state-owned company, has been performing the production, exploitation and marketing of our country's boron minerals within the framework of applicable laws. As an international organization Eti Maden has been operating in the fields of Mining, Chemistry along with Bandırma Boron and Acid Works, Kırka Boron, Emet Boron, Bigadiç Boron Works Management Offices and Bandırma Logistics Unit operating under the roof of Eti Maden İşletmeleri as well as its representatives and subsidiaries in foreign countries.
