About Us
Our company EZ Tohumculuk, which was established in 2005, continues its R&D and breeding studies in the Kumluca district of Antalya. There are two important reasons for choosing Kumluca. First; Kumluca is the capital of greenhouse farming in Turkey. Second; greenhouse farming is done on a land with an altitude ranging from 0 to 700m in Kumluca. This topographic variability means having different climate and soil richness. This richness gives us the opportunity to test and develop varieties for different climates and soils.
Our company's breeding studies are focused only on TOMATO, AUBERGINE, CUCUMBER and MELON species. The first reason for limiting this is the fact that success can be achieved by working on the species you know best. The second is our desire to be a worldwide contender in the species we carry out breeding studies. Despite our young age, our name being written in the world seed history with the firsts we have achieved is the result of our correct strategy. In eggplant, we have achieved seedlessness with TATLICAN F1, and in cluster tomatoes, we have achieved double disease resistance with KANKA F1.
Another important aspect that makes our EZ seed company different from our competitors is that we include the taste element in breeding. In all varieties we carry out breeding work, taste is also at the forefront along with yield and quality. Our company has made the slogan "We carry the taste heritage to the future" a reference for breeding work.
