Dimer was established in 1988 in order to explore and operate mine and marble quarries in Diyarbakır . Up to 1977 , Dimer was a modest company employing 30 persons and consisting of 2 quarries and a management Office. at that time , it had produced only block marble in quarries. When it comes to 2000 , the number of its quarries increased up to 3 , it is first factory was established in Diyarbakır Organized Industrial site and the total number of its employees reached to 100. At that juncture , in addition to block marble , it has offered also processed products to the market and started to export to overseas countries.
Today , with its 450 employess , DİMER MARBLE , has gained a prominent position among the leading companies in marble industry and continues to strengthen this position every year.
