Flexible Air Ducts
Flexible air ducts are made of aluminum foils or flexible PVC raw material wrapped around steel steel wires. Flexible ventilation ducts don't take up much space as they are shaped as required.
They are used as air flow lines between ventilation ducts and plenum boxes in spaces where stainless, galvanized sheet, aluminum, polyurethane or other types of ducts cannot be used.
Insulated and uninsulated models are available.
Insulated air ducts are covered with 25-mm-thick and 16kg/m3 density glass wool and they are placed in a fiberglass reinforced, aluminum+polyester laminated jacket which which prevents contact with air and condensation. Insulated flexible air ducts are insulated against sound and heat.
The flexible ducts, which are also called flexible air ducts are operable under the temperatures of -30o C/+140 oC and 2500 Pa, 30 m/sec.
Flexible air ducts do not emit toxic gases during fire. They are safely used in heating, cooling, ventilation and air conditioning installations.
